The World Minigolf Sport Federation (WMF) organized courses, both before and after the European Cup held October 1st to 3rd in Appelscha, to increase awareness on the fight against doping in sports. These courses, consistent with the WMF Test Distribution Plan 2015, briefed members on the current World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) regulations. The attending athletes and coaches were instructed by the attending doping control officials on the proper procedures when an athlete is chosen to undergo an anti-doping test.

WMF President Dr. Gerhard Zimmermann has been elected as a Secretary General of AIMS at the AIMS Extraodinary General Assembly, which took place in Bangkok from 11th till 13th of August. (AIMS - Alliance of Independent Recognised Members of Sport - unites 25 International Sport Federations, including WMF. http://aimsisf.org/).
