Gumpoldskirchen, Austria - The World Minigolf Sport Federation (WMF) in cooperation with Adventure Golf Club Gumpoldskirchen and Österreichischer Minigolf Sport Verband, would like to invite the world’s adventure golfers to the World Adventure Golf Masters (WAGM) on June 16th through the 18th.

The invitation for the tournament is now live on the WMF website. Active member registration ends on April 30, 2023 and club players can be registered following that via their active member federations. 

The 2023 competition will see the following categories competed for: Overall, General Class Women & Men, Female & Male Seniors, Female & Male Youth, National Teams and Mixed Pairs. Official training will beginning on June 14th with Sunday, June 18th seeing the finals for the teams, individual and mixed pairs categories. More information about the 2023 tournament can be found on the tournament’s official website. 

WAGM has been running since 2011, with brief intruption in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. Last year, WAGM saw a strong team of Finnish players dominate the categories on their home course in Kuopio, including overall winner Aki Sillman.  Will the Fins be able to repeat away from home?  Will the Austrians take over the home course advantage?  Or will we see perennial powers Sweden, or a newcomer, rise to the top of the leaderboard?  Follow along the WMF Facebook and Instagram pages this summer to get action from the tournament and see how these story lines play out!
